Gin Mill Hollow is a high-energy Americana-jamband from Madison, Wisconsin, known for their unique blend of bluegrass, folk, jazz, blues, and rock. The quartet has developed a strong following through more than 600 live shows over 12 years across the Midwest and beyond, celebrated for performances that often sound more like a rock show than a traditional string-band act. Gin Mill Hollow began as an acoustic duo featuring childhood friends Dan Plourde and Mark Norman, who connected for a last-minute gig at the Up North Bar in Madison, a venue that became their early home base for honing their sound. The group expanded into a trio with the addition of mandolinist Joshua "Juice" Giudice, eventually becoming a four-piece band with the addition of drummer/percussionist Joe Murray. The band is fresh off the release of their third studio album, "A Fool's Dream," and will be promoting it throughout the year at numerous festival appearances including Blue Ox Music Festival and Mile of Music.
